Be a Campus Marketing Rep for Insomnia Cookies!

This is definitely the best job you will have in college. As a Campus Marketing Representative you will plan events, samplings and drop offs to brighten cookie-lovers days’ when they least expect it. Some days you will find yourself on campus sampling to students in the library, at an event in the community or dropping off cookies to the nursing staff in the emergency room! You will gain real world marketing experience; possibly become the most popular person on campus and you will get paid! For real! #signmeup

 

Throughout the semester you’ll work with your marketing manager to accomplish:

 

- 2 -3 activities (sampling, event or business drops) a week

- Recap weekly efforts to your Marketing Manager

- Complete localized programming requirements per semester

- Participate in bi-Weekly catch up calls with Marketing Manager

- Source campus and local events and relay to Insomnia Cookies Marketing

- Source fundraiser opportunities and relay to Insomnia Cookies Marketing

 

The position allows for you to work 20 hours/month @ $10/hour. You will be paid as an hourly employee, and it is required that you clock-in at the store.

HTC VIVE Brand Ambassador

Ahead of the highly anticipated release of the HTC Vive virtual reality device, the AroundCampus Group (AC), is bringing the HTC Vive College Tour to campuses across the country. The campus tour will feature live demos, allowing college students to experience the Vive first-hand before the consumer product release. To make this exciting tour possible, AC is looking for brand ambassadors on your campus! Positions are for one or three weeks during the Fall 2015 academic semester. Ambassadors will represent HTC and will promote participation in the HTC Vive Campus Tour at their school.

 

As an HTC Brand Ambassador you will:

• Consult with The AroundCampus Group on marketing strategy and participate in developing a marketing timeline for

promoting the HTC Vive College Tour

• Promote and market the HTC Vive College Tour through:

o Peer-to-peer brand advocacy for the duration of the campaign

o Regular campus canvassing: postering, flyering, chalking

o Planning and implementing activities on campus including, but not limited to, tabling, giveaways, Greek house

events, dorm visits, and announcements during student group meetings

o Creating and posting content on your own social media accounts during the campaign

o Building excitement and anticipation on campus ahead of the tour stop

• Participate in executing HTC Vive demonstrations on campus for one week

• Administer marketing surveys to demo participants

• Complete a required virtual training session and an on-campus training session

• Gain early access to experience the HTC Vive before anyone else on campus!

• Develop and cultivate your marketing and communication skills and expertise

• Work independently and in a team environment

• Commit a minimum of 8 hours each week for the duration of the campaign

 

Required Skills or Experience:

• Self-starter, motivated, and energetic

• Strong communication and public speaking skills

• Effective at multi-tasking with a proven ability to meet deadlines

• Actively involved in one student organization/club/group

• Familiar with and actively use social media, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

• Access to a smart phone and/or tablet

 

Preferred Skills or Experience:

• Passion for innovative technology

• Planning and organizing events on your college campus

 

Compensation:

Ambassadors will be paid a fixed hourly rate, plus incentives for achieving communicated campaign goals.
